You can use this rubric to guide district leaders’ thinking about systemic changes that will impact the adoption of SEL in schools and influence students’ academic performance and social and emotional development. It parallels the CDI Theory of Action and offers a framework for looking at the district’s SEL activities, practices, and processes. It can help in determining strategic action moving forward to achieve effective SEL implementation for successful student outcomes.
